This picture depicts representatives from the water, air and land, the snake also being
a symbol of lightning in certain tribes.
The First American loves and respects all creatures.
The original painting on which this is based, was painted by a First American called Nodka
in 1850. It was on a wooden panel produced for a ‘potlatch’ feast, where artisans sold their
wares to the local white aristocracy.
