These paintings represent my daily work, commissions in oil and watercolour. When painting for myself, they tend to be photorealistic seascapes in oil. However, whilst the traditional concept of watercolour is quite pale and 'watery', lacking much strength or substance, if necessary I can produce watercolours which could be mistaken for oils. Conversely, I can paint oils that have the translucency and 'light touch' of watercolour.
